Good gift shop and Bodega next to the motor museum. Nice varied selection, including wines from the barrels which can be tasted before purchase, cured meats, ceramics, decorative tiles, local honey which is very good, hats and various other items. Cold drinks are fairly priced, friendly and helpful staff. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area
Roadside shop that is full of local produce at really low prices, plus locally made souvenirs. Worth a visit.
Local produce at decent prices. Lovely honey, nuts, alcohol and olive oil. We got a whole bag full. Recommend
After all the same ol' same ol' souvenirs and gift shops at Guadalest, it was nice to see some genuine articles, some pretty kooky. They also sell Moscatel from barrels for pennies. Good find.
Varied local products and lazy carpets
The restaurant "El Rui" next to this place is really good, the meat is cooked over an open fire. Booking is recommended. Not open Saturdays.
The best pink tomatoes you can find.
I discovered this shop and its restaurant in 2001, and it has become a reference for my purchases of honey, olive oil, jams, liqueurs and charcuterie. The offer has expanded considerably from year to year, and you can find everything you need for connoisseurs who want to avoid low-quality gourmet products from overly touristy places. Wide selection of quality regional wines, which you don't necessarily find elsewhere. I recommend the Malaga wine, the local vermouth, the green tomato jam, the organic olive oil and the spicy sobrasada from Gloria de Guadalest. Very moderate prices considering the quality. Superb view from the parking lot. The staff will be able to advise you if you are a beginner.
